- 10–15 ftCenter channel or front speakers across a TV wall
- 25–35 ftRear surrounds in a typical living room

Everything you need to wire up to six speakers in one box. Each GEARit kit pairs a spool of 2-conductor CCA speaker wire with 12 screw-lock banana plugs (6 pairs), so you can cut, strip and connect a full home theater, stereo or car audio system without buying parts separately.
Choose your gauge and length
- 12 gauge – lowest resistance for long runs, subwoofers and higher-power speakers
- 14 gauge – the all-round choice for home theater surrounds and bookshelf speakers
- 16 gauge – for shorter runs and lower-power speakers
- 50 ft or 100 ft spool to match the size of your setup
Built for easy installs
- Wire and plugs in one kit – 12 banana plugs complete six speaker connections
- Measure from the spool – sequential foot markers on the jacket for accurate cuts
- Polarity at a glance – red tracer stripe marks positive and negative
- Flexible PVC jacket – routes around furniture and through tight vehicle interiors without kinking
- Copper-clad aluminum (CCA) – lighter and more affordable than pure copper, with reliable signal for everyday audio
What's in the box

OFC vs CCA: which conductor fits your install?
Longer runs to surrounds and higher receiver power benefit from pure copper's lower resistance.

FAQ
Speaker wire questions, answered.
How do I choose the right length?
Measure the path the wire will actually follow, around furniture, along baseboards or through walls, then add 10–15% for slack. If you're between two lengths, go longer.
What gauge speaker wire do I need?
Under 50 ft, 16 AWG is fine. For 50–100 ft or higher-power amps, step up to 14 AWG. For runs over 100 ft or subwoofers, use 12 AWG. In-wall installs need a CL2 or CL3 jacket.
Can I run this speaker wire in walls?
Wire rated CL2 or CL3 is made for in-wall and in-ceiling installation. Check the rating in the specs above and on the jacket.
Is OFC better than CCA?
Oxygen-free copper has lower resistance than copper-clad aluminum, which matters most on long runs and at higher power. CCA is a budget option for short indoor runs.
Do I need banana plugs?
No. Bare wire works on any speaker terminal. Banana plugs make swaps faster and prevent fraying.
