GEARit Cat6a Shielded Ethernet Cable holds 10Gbps across the full 100 meter channel, so a long run to an office, NVR, or server closet keeps its full speed. Braided screen over foiled pairs blocks EMI and crosstalk where cables bundle tightly. Choose black, blue, or white in sixteen lengths from 1 to 200 ft, as a single cable or a 5-pack.
Specifications: Cat6a SSTP/SFTP shielded, 26AWG solid bare copper, 10 Gbps to 100 m, 550MHz, PoE ready, shielded snagless RJ45 with gold-plated contacts. Black, Blue, or White. Single: 3 / 5 / 7 / 10 / 14 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 50 / 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 200 ft. 5-Pack: 1 / 3 / 5 / 7 / 10 / 14 ft.
Full 10 Gbps up to 328 ft, 500MHz bandwidth
Cat6a carries a full 10 Gbps over runs up to 328 ft, so a home office, media room, server rack or gaming setup gets the bandwidth it pays for. Every length is factory-terminated and tested before it ships.
Foil on every pair plus an overall braid
Each twisted pair is wrapped in foil and the whole bundle sits under a braided screen, so crosstalk and EMI from power cords, HVAC, fluorescent lights and dense cable bundles stay out of your signal.
26 AWG pure copper, snagless shielded RJ45
26 AWG bare copper conductors, never copper-clad aluminum, keep loss low on long runs. Shielded RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts resist corrosion, and the snagless boot protects the latch when you pull cable through walls, racks and desks. Works with Cat6 and Cat5e gear.
A snagless molded boot, gold-plated shielded RJ45 connector and a flexible round jacket make for a cable that plugs in cleanly, stays put and survives being routed through tight spaces.
Four foil-shielded twisted pairs of 26 AWG bare copper under an overall braided screen. The cutaway shows why: every layer is there to keep interference out and 10 Gbps in.
I needed an Ethernet cable long enough to reach the furthest point in my house for a POE IP camera. This cable features excellent anti-snag ends (see picture), which are different from the ones shown in the Amazon listing, but I actually prefer this design. It's more flexible, and the cable itself is easy to run and very flexible. The key feature is the thicker gauge, which is capable of carrying a POE signal. Cheaper, thinner cables won’t support the power, requiring a local 110v adapter. Highly recommended.
I recently received this GearIT Cat6A Ethernet Cable (7 ft, Blue), and it has exceeded my expectations in both build quality and performance. The cable feels sturdy with its 26AWG construction and solid bare copper wiring, providing confidence in its durability. The snagless design is a nice touch, especially when running the cable through tight spaces, as it prevents the connectors from catching on anything. The shielded SSTP design significantly reduces interference, making it ideal for environments with multiple electronic devices. I tested it with a 10Gbps network, and it delivered consistent speeds without any noticeable drops, making streaming 4K content and transferring large files seamless. The shielding effectively minimizes crosstalk and external noise, ensuring a stable connection. At 7 feet, the length is perfect for short to medium-range setups like connecting my gaming console to the router or linking a desktop PC to a network switch, and the blue color makes it easy to identify among other cables. While slightly more expensive than unshielded alternatives, the performance and build quality justify the cost. This cable is built to last, and the added shielding is a worthy investment for high-speed, interference-free networking. If you're looking for a reliable Ethernet cable that can handle demanding network tasks, the GearIT Cat6A is an excellent choice. It delivers on its promise of speed and durability, making it ideal for home use.
This cable is well made and has high quality terminations. I’m not sure if I’ll need the entire 200’ or if I may trim it down to a specific length and re-terminate with Cat6A crimp on ends. Either way, this cable has the requisite shielding and construction to run at full rated speed over the entire distance, which makes this a fantastic deal for the price. This is perhaps the most economical choice for a super-long length of cat6A cable. It’s not the most flexible but it’s to be expected for the amount and quality of shielding this cable utilizes. GearIT has great products and you can rest assured with your purchase. Highly recommended.
What it is: 5 pack of blue shielded CAT6a Ethernet patch cables. Features solid copper wires, shielded plug and jacket, color matched plug boots. Why I like it: They are a reliable shielded cable for your infrastructure projects. Great signal, reliable, quality assembly. I have several GearIT products, and they have proven themselves on the stage and on IT projects.
I ran this cable from my router to my computer's ethernet port. It snapped in securely on both devices and released easily as well. I have an 800mpbs plan and a speedtest showed 860mpbs speeds. I'm very happy with this cable. Appears to be a legitimate Cat6a cable with the metal housing at the connection. Also appears to be robust and well built. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another GearIT ethernet cable.
I have been moving to shielded connectors on my patch panels to help reduce any interference with high-speed connections over short lengths. I use these in remote areas where one or two cables are split through POE switches mounted to a comm board and a patch panel connecting for the final runs. The image shows two POE extender switches (the first 65watt) being used to connect five Ubiquiti POE cameras. I have no metrics to back that up, but I seem to experience less jitter using these over unshielded patch cables. Every little bit helps!
When I first received the product, I was expecting a bubble cover design. Instead, I receive a product where the Ethernet plug is unnecessarily long with some bendy plastic mechanism that makes releasing the plug difficult. As you can see from the pictures, on both the modem and the laptop, the bendy plastic makes difficult to reach and unplug. It would get caught and I had to resort to bend it the other way to reach the Ethernet plug's plastic clip.As far as functionality of a patch cable, it's as good as any other cable. It either works or doesn't. I did not perform a speed test as I do not have equipment to do such testing. For home use, it works fine.
This 200ft CAT6 ethernet cable came from GearIT and was priced at $50 when ordered. It's your basic cat6 cable with end connections. The black sheathing and cable is thicker than your average cat6 due to the thicker 26 awg wire used and sftp shielding. The cable has a little memory to it and can be a bit harder to run than thinner cat cable, but it was still very easy to work with.I was only able to test 1gb speeds with my network, but the cable functioned as expected with no data degradation observed. The RJ45 endcaps have a very snug fit in every device I have plugged it into, with the locks functioning as expected. The rubber cover over the lock is different on the cable I received versus the one pictured in the posting and the ends have a more blackened chrome finish on the body.Overall, being priced at 25 cents a foot for cat6 cable is a solid price. The quality is also good and I have no issues with the performance.
as far as performance goes, it does what i need it to- connect my PC to the wifi extender. it gives me the speed it’s supposed to from the box so it’s doing its job.what im happy with is the build quality. it’s a thick durable cable with fat head ports that feel like they’re going to last forever. compared to my previous shorter ethernet, this one feels like a monster.if it’s in your price range, this is a great option.
I have many cables from GearIT and so far they all work like they're supposed to.I generally buy 24AWG ethernet cables, but this being 26AWG it works as it should since it's pure copper and is shielded. Cat6a has the metal end compared with Cat6 or earlier, which uses plastic ends. This is rated for 10Gbps, which is more than enough for my needs using copper ethernet cable. Many of my cables are used for items that use much less bandwidth, but it's nice to be future proofed for whatever I plug into it. When I need anything above 10G, I use fiber optic cable as it uses much less energy and the cable is much smaller in diameter.5 out of 5 stars.

The shielding on this cable is awesome! Each twisted pair is spiral wrapped in foil shielding, and then all the twisted pairs together are wrapped in another layer of foil shielding. Awesome!I run a bit of cable for things like HDMI to RJ45 video runs, POE cameras, POE wifi access points, etc... I don't run enough to jumbo box, so I'll get 75ft runs like this and then use what I need... Used this to connect POE powered wifi extender, and it works great.Durable and easy to run through the walls and ceilings. Well built.
