Should be zero stars! I ran this as a ground wire for a 12v Anderson plug on my truck to run accessories. It literally turned into powder within about 1.5 years.Do not buy this for outdoor use!!
Great, Flexible, and very good cable. I used this cable to run power to a distribution panel and secondary battery switching solenoid and it worked great. Very easy to use and crimps hold tight on the jacket and the wire. The 4 gauge wire is large enough to handle plenty of 12 volt power for most amps and other large amp pull systems. Material is copper and should be compatible with any device requiring a 4 gauge wire.
No issues with this item or seller. I used the cable for feeding power to a add-on fuse panel in a farm truck.

I don’t know where all these positive reviews came from. It’s definitely not four gauge wire more like 8. The wire is super cheap just stripping the wire causes strand to fray. If I could give zero stars, I would we’ll definitely be requesting a refund.

Great price, seems to be pretty good quality. The wiring on the right is some cheap 6 gauge compared to this 4 gauge on the left.
Seems to be ok but had to order twice. The order was supposed to be 5’ of #2 red and 5’ of #2 black. On my first order I received 8” of black and 2’ of red. Obviously not what I ordered and returned it. They were supposed to refund my card as I requested however they gave me credit towards next purchase. I reordered and they got it right this time. 5’ exactly of each. I will update when I use it in my solar system. They said they are not accepting reviews from me on this product however we will see what happens.As I said ill update after I use it if they let me. Just don’t understand how someone could’ve sent 8” and 2’ of wire when they don’t even sell it that way and I needed it then. This has delayed my project !However I will say it looks like good copper wire with good covering. We’ll see how it conducts in my system and I’ll update.

Good wiring , not stupidstiff and easy to work with..rubber coating seems pretty robust too.
I like the fact that it's actually 4 gage wire and not just pretending to it is. So I have not installed my amp yet but the wire is prefict.i highly recommend it.just my opinion though!
If you NEED 4ga wire capacity don't buy this. This wire melted and burned up vehicle harness along with it because it is NOT for the amps a 4ga wire should be. Left me stranded on the side of the road during Hurricane Helene.
Nice quality, heavy duty and easy to work with. Great performance for the price. I'm using this wire to run lithium ion and deep cycle gel batteries in series that store solar power providing electricity for my greenhouse. They handle the solar charging and discharging great, no abnormal heat and heavy enough copper it's actually increased the efficiency and output of everything connected to the batteries. Got a decent crimp tool and some good terminal lug ends and made sure everything was put together so it will last. I will definitely be getting more when I need it.

Great length for custom work or powering electronics. Has a nice thick jacket to prevent shorts or electrical faults. The thick jacket makes it seem like it’s an 8 gauge versus what’s advertised a 4 gauge. The strands are well twisted and even when cutting through the rubber jacket it didn’t come apart it held nicely. I will be soldering this so I’m positive it will hold great. Just seems like a 4 gauge wire would be thicker.

The measured diameter of the multi-strand wire was 5.40mm (refer to the image). When converted to the equivalent solid wire diameter, it should fall within the range of 3.78mm to 4.32mm, corresponding to approximately #5 and #7 AWG wires. Therefore, it is evident that this wire does not align with the specifications for a #4 AWG wire.Additionally, it's essential to bear in mind that this wire was aluminum-clad, suggesting that its value may not justify the expenditure.
This is some pretty good wire. The exterior coating is fairly flexible, but not as flexible as some I have used before. This may be due to the coating, but could also be partly due to it being CCA wire, rather than true copper. That said, the wire threads are very fine and it seems to be pretty well made.Overall, not many complaints. It did take a few weeks to get here, but that isn’t the end of the world. Good wire overall if you aren’t needing or set oxygen free copper.
Looks like a good price but for a battery or inverter set up you need pure copper wire. Don't learn the hard way.Pictured is black pure copper 6 gauge awg. It's about the same size as this cable.
