GEARit Cat6 Patch Cables Cat 6 Ethernet Cable 1 ft 5-Pack Blue

The one I put into service right away hasn't given me any problems, and the four I still had on the bench all tested out fine for basic continuity to the right pins. They all seem of consistent quality.I will note that the strain relief around the latching clips is QUITE hard to press, so at least without modification I wouldn't plan on using these in places where you're frequently swapping. (My thumb is STILL sore typing up this review a few minutes after testing them all…)

I needed a bunch of CAT6 cables to connect a hub to my mesh network in a closet cabling box panel. I’ve had no issues with my home network with these cables and these were sufficiently short enough (1.5 ft) not to crowd the small box where all this activity is occurring. No issues with connectivity with these and each snapped into the keystone housing securely.

I only needed one five-foot cable but having a five pack will allow me to have extras on hand as I expand. I needed a cable to replace a super long cable that was just too long for the space where I was using it, and it was getting tangled and in the way. The cables are good quality and the terminations are good. Each termination has a jacket for further protection. I’ve been using the cable daily and I’ve had no issues. I cannot say that it has increased my internet speed as I have really bad internet service. The cable is easy to plug and unplug, but unplugging does require a little extra pressure (this is good as the cable stays securely in the port). I found the price point to be reasonable and would recommend the cables.

This set of five cables has made my home office set-up so much more efficient. My devices work reasonably well with wifi, but of course everything works better hard wired and these cables make all of that possible. The 10’ length of cord is what I really needed. I have great internet coming into the house but substandard connections coming from it. These cat 6 cables allow me to use my switch to hook everything up directly and the difference is night and day. Sure, there are higher levels of cable, but for my devices the cat 6 works great. The cords are sturdy and the connectors are strong. Be aware that these are all one color, making it a good idea to label each cord if you can.Five cords at this price, it’s a great bargain.

I connected and tested these. No problems.Five pack of 3 ft. Cat 6 patch cables. Tested better than normal.

These cables seem to be constructed well and work just fine.I’m not a fan of the way the connector latches are covered with a half dome of plastic integrated with the boot, however this is a rather common design so I’m not going to take away any stars for it. I find this style makes it hard to remove the cable when they are tightly packed in racks, but it’s easily fixed. I just cut off the little dome off over the latch, problem solved. I have been doing this for many years. If the cable is just going to the back of a PC it’s not an issue, but short cables like this are more likely to be used to connect a switch to a patch panel.

Needed thin cables for a video production box, These made my life so much easier

Used this for a IP POE system and bridge, having a five pack for the price was the key selling point.

Perfecto

Very nice cables that arrived quickly. Of the 3 packages I ordered, I used all but 2 cables which I saved as spares and they all worked as expected. The only thing I didn't like about them was that they are wrapped tightly so I had to take my hair dryer to heat them up and straighten them. Otherwise they would have been a coiled up mess. I do recommend these cables and the seller and I would buy them again. Thanks!

Good Quality

The cables work but the plugs do not remove easily. You are very likely to damage either the cable or the device you plugged into when removing the cable. If you have no plans to remove the cable, ever, then go for it.

They work just fine. Had no issues with them and I was too lazy to terminate cable myself!

MY job ordered these as replacement for the old cat 5a and 5e, I was so impressed by the immediate response from the speed and bandwidth difference on the PC's, it made me curious. Not only the change in speed and responsiveness also the quality of the cable and thickness, also the built of the wiring of the cable. Anyway I bought a pack for my home and I am still impressed it also eliminate the latency errors I was getting with internet. Definitely a plus buy. I am impress and satisfied.

Excellent, perfect size for what I needed. They were great.

You need a pair of pliers to disconnect the cable. It transmits data fine, but the plastic shield over the retaining latch has almost zero flexibility, so you can't squeeze it hard enough with your fingers to unplug the cable. If your application doesn't have sufficient access space for pliers, you will need to cut off the shield with a tiny wirecutter before you use the cable.

So far so good! Seems to be a top notch product!
