GEARit 14/3 SJOOW Cable 50 ft – 14 AWG 3-Conductor 300V Flexible Power Cord

The wire was easy to use for my project. It was a breeze to work with.

Unsheathed the insulation and found this. Green tape on wire and I suspect it's soldered underneath. I needed the length so I did not cut it off to investigate.

I needed to extend my level 1 EV charger cable about 10ft. It has 13awg for L & N, 12awg for ground and 18awg for CP.This cable is an excellent extender option as long as you know what you're doing electrically, don't abuse the cable and avoid flexing the splice areas repeatedly. My setup is in a garage, the cable is never driven over and it's put away with the splice points hanging straight. The oem charger cable is more robust that this sj cable, but it's designed for outdoor abuse.

Good quality cable. I use it with 50amp plug to be able to connect my water heater to generator or to house power in case of power outage.

NOT WATER PROOF. I bought this for my RGB lighting outdoors where it rains frequently. I had a pixel failure and spent hours trying to troubleshoot the issue. I finally cut this section of wiring out of my display and tested it, I was getting leakage from my data conductor to both the power (+) and power (-) from the water that was inside the jacket. The amount of leakage would be enough to trip a GFCI circuit if I was using this as a power cable. I was using this at 12VDC with a data line. (total 3-conductor). Absolute waste of money and almost a full day of troubleshooting a simple problem.

Extremely affordable, but great value for money. Easy to install, bends well, solid copper, great connections.

Good quality and cheaper than the local box store. I needed this as a custom dryer cord.

Better than expected. Rubber coating feels good and is durable. Thickness is perfect and cable lays and wraps easy. Worked perfect for making power on cables.

I bought this to replace the cord on my 220 air compressor. I suppose I could have bought black red green wire but I replaced the old and flagged each end of the white wire with a wrap of red tape so I indicate two hots and ground. I can't speak yet but I hope it stays intact for many years. My old wire made crunchy sounds indicating rotten insulation. This cord looks good and handled well during install.

This cable is perfect for my needs. Has the correct voltage and current specs to turn my old 30A Level 2 EVSE into a portable car charger. And the cable is nicely flexible. Price and shipping were good.

I can't say much about these, other than that they seem very high quality for a competitive price. SJOOW is good cable. I abandoned the project that I bought them for and don't need them. They're still in the unopened package. Maybe I'll try to sell for $10 dollars on E Beigh. I'm determined to quit keeping things around just in case I might need them in the future. (Except for my tools. You'll have to force me to give up perfectly good tools that I haven't used in 15 years.)
