I want to be very clear, I love this light, it’s bright—-very bright
and the magnet on my light was very strong actually too strong.
The lights big, but not so big that it’s an issue, willing to sacrifice the occasional size issue for the outstanding actual lighting.
Have not contacted or attempted to return this unit yet so I cannot speak on the customer service. And as for my issue, I was replacing the three separate parking brake cables on the underside of a 2007, severally rusted, Toyota Tundra which took about 12 hours, so the light stayed on 12 hours. I just threw all my tools back in the garage, “cut the light off”, and called it a day. The next morning while cleaning up I noticed the plastic cover over the led’s was severely damaged, not just scratches, but melted, melted very bad. The light did get hot as I noticed when I would move it around under the truck, but wasn’t that hot. I’m afraid to use it as it is now unsafe, could potentially catch on fire or burn me for that matter.
So if this is just a fluke and is not an issue they are aware of and it is going to happen again, then the light is great otherwise if this is a issue the are aware of then this is a law suit waiting to happen and don’t buy it !!!

This is not a trouble light, it's the best damn service light I have ever used. It has hanging hooks top and bottom if you need to you can hang it by both hooks from overhead for a flood light, It also has a convenient magnet in the center if your working under the hood of your vehicle.

I really like the light, I used it to replace a broken LED work light on a cord reel which I received no dealer support for parts. The unit was able to be opened up, the cord strain relief and connectors were identical to my broken one ... easy.

I like the light, but there are ways it could be much better. Most of it's use for me will be UNDER a car that is barely off the floor. The light should be able to be positioned on it's back or angled on either side without getting damaged from being moved around on a rough concrete floor. The lens seems fairly protected by the light's design, but could use more protection when it's laying on it's back and you are working over it on your back. Almost anything that falls or is accidentally dropped on it will scratch or break the lens.
