Love these. Makes installs look so much cleaner. They all work and function just as they should.

I grabbed these for a network rack where the switch and patch panel sit right next to each other. Using normal length Ethernet cables in that situation usually turns the rack into a bowl of spaghetti. These little 6 inch cables fix that immediately.They’re Cat6 patch cables with standard RJ45 connectors and support typical Ethernet speeds up to 10Gb depending on your gear.What I really like is how clean everything looks after swapping to short cables. Instead of loops of cable hanging everywhere, everything just connects and disappears.They’re flexible, click in securely, and do exactly what an Ethernet cable should do… which is absolutely nothing noticeable.If you have a patch panel or small rack setup, these are great. I was displeased with this purchase

At first these patch cables worked just fine. Installed them on my server rack without issue and didn't give them any thought for some time. Eventually, one by one, some of my network devices would drop offline and then come back. Over time the issues began to get worse and worse. After some diagnostics, I narrowed the issue down to these patch cables. Upon replacing them with different ones all the problems were resolved immediately. If you're looking for a quality product that you can set and forget, I would avoid these. Cable Matters makes a better product.

Everyone is right - the boot is very stiff, making it impossible to remove these without a screwdriver to push in the tab. Tossed.

Works great when the ports are close to lining up between two adjacent 1U devices. Keeps the rack looking very neat.

Cable quality is fine and it tested full bandwidth for cat 6, but the 6" measurement is from the end of one connector to the end of the other. The wire length is much less and too short for most applications.

Wasn't sure id be able to find such tiny cables, but GearIT has patches for seemingly all sensible sizes and colors. The strain relief did seem a little big, but then the cables are tiny.

Honestly. Every single one of these tiny cables was packaged in large plastic bags. Each one. Like come in man.

First off, these are great cables. They work well and the boot allows for easy release.However, the 50 count costs more per cable than the 20 or the 100. who did the math on this pricing?
