Right now, I have a Samsung T5 500GB SSD plugged in, another Samsung 500GB SSD, a 64 GB thumb drive (Sandisk) and a 64 GB SD card. I tried to use a 32 GB MicroSD card too, but it won't work when the SD card is inserted and recognized. I also tried several usb portable spinning (mechanical) hard drives in this, a 2GB, a 3GB and a 4GB hard drive. None of those work. Note that I am using a the USB-C port plugged into power for this, but my iPad Pro is NOT charging. I started this at 96% and now I'm down to 80% since i started this (I have been running some errands since I noted the initial charge on the iPad. I will have to do so more testing on this, however. The 30W power brick that I charge my iPad with is currently plugged into the GearIT device, but it is not charging my iPad, even with no other devices plugged into the Gear IT. That is no good. Another thing I don't like about this hub is that you cannot use a USB-C device while you are using the only USB-C port for charging, but my port is also not charging. There should be at least 1 other USB-C on this thing.Oh, I also have a 500 GB SSD drive inside an inateck enclosure, but the hub does not work with it. I don't know why.The MicroSD card has to be inserted upside down relative to the SD card. No where on the devices is this stated, so many will struggle with this.10\/1\/19. I am going to test this on my laptop and also try some other power bricks on the charging port to see what happens. I will update this review once I get this testing done. Other hubs would dangle from the usb-c port causing stress on the port. Because this hub has an angled connection, the hub lies flat on the surface.
